When use Thermal CTP Plate, please be aware of appropriate plate storage. During the process of moving plate, please take plate with care. If the storage space is large, you'd better lay it flat. If the room is lack of space, you may place plate against the wall and the tilt of angle should not be too large; otherwise, it will cause plates to be bent or abnormal exposure of the plate. It would be better to make a tilted supporter against the wall to ensure uniform force.
User should use both hands to take out plates slowly and carefully from the box to avoid uneven force which will cause damage to the plate surface. It's recommended to take out plates along with protective paper each time in order to avoid scratches to the plate. Konita thermal CTP plate will react to the light when it's exposed to light, so please try to prevent plates from expose to daylight or room light for too long. Plates should be stored in a dry and cool place with temperature between 5℃ to 30℃. The humidity should not exceed 55%. CTP plate shelf life normally is 12 months under recommended storage conditions.
