What is processless CTP plate? What advantages does it have? In a broad sense, after the plate is exposed and imaged on the plate-making machine, it can be mounted on the press without processing, thus saves users developer, processor, labor, electricity, water and etc. This is the real processless plate. In a narrow sense, chemical development is not required after the exposure of the plate. However, there will be individual non-chemical treatment steps, such as removal of the ablation residue of the plate material and application of protective glue.
